Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
child custody
my ex wife has been letting her friend who had her own child child taken from her due to mental instability watch our children. she also sent them on a weekend camping trip with this woman. i asked her to stop leaving our children alone with this woman, but she seems unwilling to do so. they live in another state so it's difficult for me to monitor her activities
my ex has also had the children taken from her previously on a temporary basis because her house was unfit. there have been instances where utililities were. disconnected.
the children want to stay with her and i'm willing to do that as long as they are being cared for, but leaving them alone with a person the state deemed mentally unfit to have her own son seems like child endangerment to me.
if she refuses to stop leaving them in the care of this woman, what can i legally do to ensure the safety of my children?
i am behind in my child support, but i send her every thing i can

Re: child custody
The only thing you can do is take her back to court. Your arrearage in child support is independent of her responsibility to see to the children's safety and well-being. Consult with a local attorney.
