Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child custody

A young Mother has left her child with me on numerous occasions and on this latest drop off she signed temporary guardianship papers for 1 month. The child is sick and not once has this mother contacted me to check on this baby.

Everything this baby needs is coming out of my pocket and was wondering if there was anyway that I can get permanent custody of this child even though I'm not related? The mother took off to Alabama and I'm waiting to see if she will be back for the baby.
