Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child pornography?

I recently took a roll of film to get developed, and the cashier reprimanded me because I had a picture of my three year old daughter and 8 month old neice naked in the bathtub. She said that she was ''of a mind to report me for child pornography''. Apparently, she thinks my daughter is too old to have her picture taken this way. What is the law concerning this? Does it matter that I am her mother? Please help if you can. Your time is much appreciated.

Re: child pornography?

I wouldn't worry about it. However, I would talk to your local solicitor's office or district attorney's office to see what their attitude is. After being assured that they won't prosecute you (which I feel comfortable you will find), I would insist on talking to the store manager to insure that their employees understand the difference between pornography and pictures that parents have been taking ever since cameras were invented.
