Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Child Support Collection

I'm the cp and male. The ncp is currently 2700.00 in the arrears on support. The state of georgia OCSS is currently pursuing her but is taking there time. They will freeze her checking and suspend her licence but if she pays a token payment of 100.00 they back off. I feel helpless that she will keep doing this and get farther behind. I also feel that if the roles were reveresed I would be in jail.

I spent over $25,000 dollars to get

custody and I dont have the funds to get the child support if I even could .

So my question is am I at the mercy of the state and can the ncp get away with this?

Re: Child Support Collection

Unless you file a private contempt action yourself you will have to deal with them. However, in a contempt, if the judge finds willful contempt on their part you are entitled to collect your attorney's fees.
