Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child support

With the new child custody order i have been ordered to pay child support with an income deduction order.. Does that mean that my employer will be contacted and deductions will be taken out of my check or do I have to do something on my end to take care of this?? It has been a month since new order and nothing has happened with payroll yet..
