Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Child support

In my divorce papers it states that child support will stop when the last child completes secondary school up to age 20. My daughter graduates high school this month but is going to live at home while going to a community college. She has already been accepted. Is there any way that I can get child support to continue while she lives at home?

Re: Child support

Unless your divorce papers state that your daughter must be "away" at college, the chid support should continue. Consult with a local attorney to review your divorce papers.

If the papers do not provide for college already, no.
