Re: Child Support

THE CHILD SUPPORT ORDER PREVAILS. IF THE ORDER REQUIRES YOU TO PAY UNTIL THE CHILD REACHES THE AGE OF 18 OR MARRIES, THEN YOU MUST CONTINUE TO PAY. PLEASE CONTACT MY OFFICE SO THAT I CAN ASSIST YOU FURTHER IN THIS MATTER.

Re: Child Support

Whether you must continue to pay child support when a minor drops out of school will depend on the language in your divorce decree or support order. You will have to make a motion to have the judge issue an order to stop the payments, if in fact stopping is appropriate. Please call to discuss the details. I would like to have you fax a copy of your decree/order so that I can review it.
