Child Support: will remarriage cause suppport to be increased

If a person is paying child support and they remarry and their spouse makes significantly more than they, is the formula for child suppport still just based on the original individuals income or is the new spouses income also included in the base for the formula?

The state formula doesn't factor that in, but there are a set of criteria a judge MAY consider to deviate from the formula. In some cases that might merit a deviation, although I have seen that very rarely.
