Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Child Visitation

My boyfriend has a three year old son. His ex-wife is denying his visitation rights because we live together. In his divorce papers,it does not say anything about either one of them having stipulations regarding visitation. It only says that''each agree to provide a safe, moral environment for the child.'' Can she do this,or does he have the right to decide who his child is around? They share joint legal custody.

Re: Child Visitation

No she doesn't have that right unless she can show that you are a danger to the child, or that you create or contribute to an immoral or unsafe environment.

She be right. However, consult with an attorney in the county of her residence about a contempt action and ask how the local judges are likely to rule in a case such as this.
