Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Child Visitation
My wife and I had a fight and I was charged with misdeamenor assault and because children were at home, 3rd party child cruelty. This incident happened on Dec 5 2007. My wife at the hearing on Dec 11th was angry and asked for a 12 month TPO with no visitation rights. Since that time, both her and myself have attorneys to modify the TPO and want to work through so our children have visitation with me, but her attorney is not responding. If I understand the TPO, I have the right to ask for a hearing in front of the judge to propose modification myself. Is the correct in GA?
