Child visitation

I an a 29 year old non custodial parent of an 8 yr old boy, who I have not seen in about 6 years. I have also not paid child support untill here recently. Where do i satand as far as supervised visitation rights she does not want me in my sons life. I am also now 17 months sober. please help.

No one can possibly answer your post with the limited information you posted. It is very likely that a court would limit visitation, at least for a while, for a person who apparently had a drinking problem, broke the law for years in not paying support and went years without seeing his child. With a good lawyer and a willingness to do what it takes to prove yourself to her and the court, often you could later get more visitation. The answer to that woul best come after you sit down with a lawyer and he gets extensive details.
