Choosing Guardian

A 15 year old, believes he can choose his guardian since he is 15 almost 16. Can he do this without his Parent's consent as long as he has an adult go to court for him? He can't live with real mother or father. What are the factors in for this situation? Is this legal.

He can't do that. While he may have some say so in a dispute between teh two parents, he cannot pick someone else.
