Conflict of Interest

A Juvenile court Judge is not

reappointed, so he opens up own

law practice as an indep attorney.

This Judge was my Judge for a

custody modification trial while he

was on the bench and a final order

was put in place by him. I was Pro

Se. Is it a conflict of interest for me

to hire him as my attny to

represent me to modify one portion

of that same final order from that

trial? I would think maybe but not

sure.

I don't think it is a conflict of interest, but run that question by him and clearly express your concern.
