Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
This may be considered an odd situation, but I just turned 21 and my husband is almost 39. he has two children living at home, but only has custody of the younger one. We were married only a month after his final divorce decree was signed off on. His ex wife is also living in his home because we don't want to see her be homeless. he pays his alimony that they agreed was fair, and he is actually 2 months ahead. he pays her truck insurance and cell phone bill. everything that was agreed upon is being done. the son in his custody refuses to attend school some days, but he and i wake him up to get him on the bus. we cant force a 16 year old to attend school. the 17 year old dropped out of school with his mothers consent. their mother has them siding with her and is trying to get social services involved. i am 23 weeks pregnant and dont want to have social services constantly in my child's life because his older children want to act up. is there anything that their mother can do to re-modify the divorce? Or is there anyway she can come back in and get his house? i have no idea what can and cant legally be done with his children being 4 years younger than me. she claims they can legally be removed because of my age, is there any truth to that? can she do anything to have my child removed from my husband and i? I am freaking out and cant afford a lawyer at the moment.

This is not an issue you can fix. If your husband won't get a lawyer to fix it your choices are to live with it, or divorce your husband.
