contempt charges

I filed contempt charges on ex -husband for back child support. He's attorney sent me a letter stating she was going to be out of town, (legal tactic)...she was out of town, however my ex - husband stilled showed up, and the judge dropped the charges,because I did not show up. I actually thought it was rescheduled.

Anyway, am I in comtempt of court, and do I have a chance of ever seeing that $4000.00 ++ ?
