Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Is She Contempt ?

We recently went to Court to Modify the Divorce Decree. In the modification, it states that the Defendant (Custodial Mother) was to split the traveling expeses as well as meet the Plaintiff half was, as long as she resided in her current county. In order to "avoid" this order she moved saying that this voided the order. Is this true ? I thought she may be considered contempt due to her not notifying the judge her intentions of moving. Is there anything legally we can do ?

Contempt for not paying transportation expenses

Sounds like she may be obligated to pay ALL the expenses now, if there are any. But I don't have enough details to give you a really good answer. You may have to go back before the judge and ask him/her. It's hard to know exactly what this judge meant without being there.
