Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can court order ex-spouse to let child visit dying grandparent

Georgia issued my ex and I a divorce last February. My father has been diagnosed with bilateral lung cancer that has already spread to his spine. My ex-wife refuses to let our 10 yr old visit his grandfather in NY. My father and my son did not have a relationship before, but they nevertheless want to see each other before the inevitable. Is there a motion that can be made to court for an order forcing my ex-wife to allow him to see his grandfather?

Grandparents can specifically apply for visitation. Consult with a local attorney.
