Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Custodial parent-no soccer games,no see child.
I am in the state of Georgia. My soon to be ex-wife said she was going to enroll my child in soccer, and girl scouts. I asked her to find another sport or activity, because half the games/activities would be on my weekend, and it would be as if she is dictating my time with my child. She enrolled her anyway, and then had her lawyer send me a letter that said if i don't take her to her soccer games/activities on my weekend, that she will refuse to let me see my child. This is all done under the child's best interest in the letter. Can she really keep my kids from me if i don't take them to something she scheduled? Wouldn't a judge have to order such a thing? What are my legal rights in this situation?

Prior to turning it into a legal battle or tug-of-war, a consideration would be what your daughter enjoys.
