Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

custody affidavit

My son has come to live with me and I was told that he could sign a custody affidavit because he is 16. Does this require a lawyer, or can I file this through the courts myself? If so, how do I obtain this affidavit?

Re: custody affidavit

Changes of custody require court orders. You need a lawyer to file a petition about custody. Call us to discuss this further.
