Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Custody of my babies.

Hi, My question is concerning my 10 month old triplet boys.I left their father in june, due to his drinking and anger problems. He has seen the boys 2 times since then. he has offered no support to us what so ever. I live with my parens now, a dicision I do not regret, because i feel safe again. He requested dna testing and we go on February 17 for the test. he has told me repedadly that given the chance he would leave with the boys.he is not currently employed.He said he will seek custody. i can not afford a lawyer at all. i do not want him to even have them by himself at all. Pleas tell me what I should do. Thank you for your time. i am not trying to hurt him, i just want him to get help before he can ever be around the boys, he has been aressted twice in the last 6 months 1 time for simple battery against me , and the second for dui. I know you are all really busy, I didnt see any questions like mine posted. Thank you again for your time.

I realize you said you can't afford a lawyer but this is too complicated, serious and can have long-term effects to try to handle by yourself. YOU NEED A LAWYER. Try your local bar association to see if you have legal aid in your area. Also, check with your local magistrate court about a Family Violence Petition.
