Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

custody law

My girlfriend and i have recently had my first child and her second. My son is now three weeks old and my girlfriend and I are having serious problems with each other. Lately she has been throwing it out there that she is going to move out of state to either massachusetts or connecticutt. If she does move I would be able to see my son only one or two weeks out of the year, due to my work requirements. My question is I have any way of stopping her from moving out of state.

Re: custody law

You would have to legitimize your son and then sue for custody/visitation before you would have any rights to stop her.
