Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Custody

My x-wife has threatened me to take the child out of state and take me to court to have the judge's ruling modified. I have primary custody of my 3 yr old child while overall it is joint custody between the two of us. She constantly takes him from daycare without my permission and takes him to her home. She even has come to my parents house and taken him while I wasn't here. Is there anything I can do now with an attorney or should I wait to see if she follows through with her threat to go get an attorney? The local police dept. told me that it's a civil matter and they cannot go to get the child. What would she have to bring to the judge to get that overturned? I haven't done anything wrong and now she has a change of heart on the custody and she wants to be primary.

Re: Custody

Without reviewing your decree, it is difficult to answer your question. You should seek advice from the attorney who initially represented you, or from another attorney, if you are no longer working with your former counsel. You will need to make your decree available for review.
