Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

dad terminated rights in divorce, but also agreed to pay support...responsible?

Divorce states ''father terminates parental rights''...but on down states that ''father will pay 200/wk child support''....since his rights were terminated, is he still obligated to pay support?

In all probability, he is obligated. However, you should consult with a local attorney to have him/her examine the decree in its entirety.

The final decree prevails. If the decree states that he is to pay child support, then he is legally obligated to do. Feel free to contact my office for further consultation on the matter.
