Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been daddy to an 11 year old girl since she was 2 months old. Her mother and I have been split up since she was 2. I never adopted the girl and she supposedly is not mine Biologically. The biological father is no where in the picture. If something were to happen to the mother would i have grounds to go for custody? what would the chances of me being able to take the mother to court and gain parental rights now?

As far as taking her to court, none (zero). She could, in a will, or in probate court, subject to certain rules and exceptions, choose to name you as a guardian.
