Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
How can I disrupt/terminate an adoption? Last time I seen my son he begged to stay with me and he has told me something that his adopted parent and her girlfriend have done that upset me. I believe it's in the best interest of him to disrupt / terminate the adoption. I'm unsure if the adoption has been finalized

Assuming you signed a proper consent to an adoption, you have ten days to change your mind. After that you never can.
If you signed the surrender of parental rights and did not withdraw the surrender within 10 days, there is nothing that can be done. If you feel the adoptive parent is being abusive, you can report to DFACS, but you have no legal right to the child if the 10 day window has passed. You should have spoken with an attorney before signing anything.
