Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Not following divorce agreement
My ex-wife has refused to honor every single item in our divorce agreement. I was a stay at home father and she filed false criminal charges against me. Because I had no income, I couldnt fight the charges and was forced to agree to every demand she put forth. Even though the agreement is completely one sided, she still refuses to follow it.
Im to be allowed visitation with my son until after a full psych eval with treatment. She demanded the right to not only have a conference with the doctor beforehand, but to also have full access to all information that the doctor had - it was an absolute release. However, she wont contact the Dr and has now begun ignoring my emails.
Shes given away or sold (she wont tell me) all of my possessions, refused access to my son even just speaking to him on the phone. She wont provide me with contact information for him, his doctor or his school. Im entitled to all of it without condition, per the agreement.
I'm in AZ and she's in Atlanta. I refuse to speak to her on the phone so I have email records of all of our conversations - including her offering to pay me to stay out of my sons life.
I'm absolutely desperate for help. It's been two years since I've seen my son.

Re: Not following divorce agreement
You didn't say where your divorce was, but since you stated that GA law applies, I assume it was in GA. If so, she may be in contempt of the divorce decree. You will need to contact an attorney in or near the county where the divorce was granted.
