Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Divorce & Alimony

I've been married to my second husband for 18 years. He's an executive with a large utility company - the company that I left 17 years ago to stay home and raise the three children he had full custody of from his previous marriage. I'm college educated, 55 years old and haven't worked for almost two decades. With bonus, my husband makes over $300,000 a year , has a 401K, and a hefty company funded pension. What are my chances of getting permanent alimony as well as a portion of the 401 and pension?

No lawyer can give you odds, but those are things that would be normal to expect in many cases with such facts. It is important that you obtain counsel as soon as possible. Call me if we can be of assistance.
