Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My divorce decree states the marital home is to be sold. My ex husband is trying to refinance the house into his name. Can I go back to court and ask the Judge to change his order so that he can buy out my interest and refinance? What will happen if he does it without a change in the order?

Whether you can or cannot do this depends on the exact wording of your order. Even if can be done, proper documents may need to be dreafted now. You should go to the lawyer that handled your divorce to discuss this.
