we are fighting over the house my children are 18 and 20 and would like to live with me if i get the house however they do not want to live with their father because of his drug and alcohol use i left the home because of this if i can prove this will a judge be more in my favor if I'm willing to buy him out? how much does acoholism reflect on a case is it relavent?

Courts don't award custody of adult children.

It is impossible to answer your question as to the house. A division of property will depend on many factors including the amount of equity, length of the marriage, how the house is titled, who is living in the house, who is making the payments, what each party requests, the income and other assets of the parties, the debts, conduct of the parties, and many other factors.

If you are planning a divorce you need to get a lawyer and discuss all these facts with him.
