I filed for the divorce but my wife never answered after she was served. I want to know what can I do to get the divorce, it's been over a year.

That means you have a contested divorce, and need a lawyer.

It sounds like you have not done required steps in the case. Those are different in different courts, and, since you did not post the county, there is no way to tell you which steps you have omitted. In some courts you must set a mediation. Some need a rule nisi. Some need a stipulation to trial. Some need other steps.

Get a lawyer, and he'll do these steps as needed.
