IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A DIVORCE IN GEORGIA WITHOUT A LAWYER IS THERE ARE NO CHILDREN INVOLVED AND THE ONLY ASSET IS A HOME THAT ONE PARTY IS WILLING TO SIGN OVER TO THE OTHER?

While it is possible, in most courts it will be extremely difficult, and if you make even a small misstep, the divorce may not be granted, or the cost to fix the paperwork will exceed the few hundred dollars it costs to do it right in the first place. The portion of the case involving transfer of property, especially if there is money owing, requires precise and complex language that you will not find in any form book.
