divorce georgia question
i am doing my divorce on my own and do i have to send my husband a financial affidavit? it would disclose my bank acct and other very sensitive info about me. i havent talked to him in 3 years, i dont want anything from him (no children by this marriage) and i have a case that is closed for child molestation on my daughter against him. i would never trust him with financial info. thank you

Re: divorce georgia question
It is always a bad idea to file your own divorce.
Affidavits may or may not be needed in a case at some point (depending on what happens later), and, where they are, an attorney would be best equipped to try and block certain information.
Since a pro se litigant must show their phone number and address, he'll know far more about you than he would if an attorney filed a petition.
