Divorce

My husband and I are getting a divorce. My name is on our house title, but not on the mortgage. How will this affect me if the home goes into forclosure? Thank You.

That is very surprising. Usually, lenders want, actually demand, that all owners be on the mortgage. I would advise you to consult with an attorney to review the documents, including those at the courthouse.

If, as you say, you are not on the mortgage, a foreclosure would not affect you.
