Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

divorce

I have been married for 3 years. We have 1 child 14 months..I was diagnosed 10 months ago with bi-polar mental disorder. My husband does not want to support me with this problem. I am on medication and am doing better. I recently lost my job (NOT) because of the illness. I have no income now and he wants me to leave. I would like to know what my rights are. Can I make him leave and still pay for our apartment for our child to live? I don't really want a divorce. Can I make him pay alimony? Do I have to have an attorney? I can't really afford one because I have no income at this time? Please tell me anyting you can to help me.

Re: divorce

Times may be tough, but you really do need an attorney. There is too much at stake in terms of your and the child's future. Call around; some attorneys will take the chance that they can recover fees from the opposing party.
