Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My divorce order states that the marital home must be sold and the proceeds divided between the parties. I have been ordered to vacate the home and execute a quit claim deed. Will the quit claim prevent me from having a say in how the sale of the home is handled? What's to stop my ex-husband from rejecting offers in order to stay in the home as long as he wants?

Whoa!
Have a local attorney look at the papers. I doubt they say that you are to just sign a quitclaim deed and that's the end of it.
The papers probably say that you must sign a quitclaim deed upon a satisfactory sale.
Again, consult with a local attorney.
Unless you were completely foolish you had a lawyer in the divorce. You need to call that lawyer and find out what you are supposed to do under your paperwork. Since no one here has read your papers, obviously no one here can answer you. But your attorney does know the paperwork, and you should be calling him or her.
