Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

According to divorce papers, upon sale of a mobile home both parties get half of the money. The title is in the man's name. What kind of pricing does he have to abide by? Does it have to be sold at fair market value? Can it be given away?

It depends on what your divorce papers say. This is something you and your lawyer would have negotiated about with the other party. It should clearly be in your papers. Ask him if you do not understand the agreement as he'll be familiar with it.

If your divorce papers do not specify, consult with a local attorney about modifying the decree to specify fair market value.
