Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My divorce papers have been signed and was final in sept 2010 however the money i was awarded has yet to be paid. I have been told repeatedly its on the judges desk waiting for him to sign off on it. How long can anything sit on a judges desk? Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

You asked the same question minutes ago. The answer doesn't change just because you asked twice. Get off the computer and hire a lawyer to see if you fix what you botched. If a divorce was final in September 2010, there is NOTHING left to sign. So since you don't know what is going on in your own case, and in your last post you admitted your source for your misinformation was your ex, get a lawyer now and find out what you did to yourself in being your own lawyer.
