Is divorce paperwork legally binding if it hasn't gone in front of a judge and approved? Can the parties be held to the arrangement in the paperwork if it still hasn't been in front of a judge?

Without seeing the paperwork, there is no way to answer you. Your lawyer is the only person who could answer. Having said that, most divorce agreements are contracts, and there often are ways to enforce them as contracts. Your lawyer can explain this to you.
