Divorce Property Split

My wife and I purchased a home one year after our marriage. We used money from a home she owned before our marriage to put down on this home. The home is financed in her name because of a credit issue I have a few years earlier.

Am I entitled to appeciation and equity in this home upon our divorce?

We have no children together.

Unless the home is titled jointly in both your names, probably not, but maybe. Consult with a local attorney to review the whole financial picture. There may be some equitable issues in your favor.
