Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Divorce
Wife asking for divorce I don't want. refuses counselling and has retained a lawyer. made copies of all 401k and stock and IRAs. What are my options to slow down the process or require her to go to counselling?

Re: Divorce
You need to be realistic. If one party wants a divorce there will be one.
You need a lawyer to protect your economic and other interests. You can't prevent a no-fault divorce the other party wants.

Re: Divorce
You can't prevent a divorce and I doubt a judge would order her to go to counseling. Consult with a local attorney.
