Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am divorced and seeing someone else. I live in Georgia and have been told that I can not leaglly live with my boyfriend unless we get married because I have a child from my past marriage. Is this true, or just some crazy rumor?

If you want to risk losing your child, go ahead and live together. You will have given your ex some strong ammunition.
