Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am getting divorced but my wife filled the papers in Atlanta GA. I need a court extension because I do not have vacation from work until febuary. Is it possible to get this and how do I go about that. I am in CA

You need to get an Atlanta area lawyer ASAP. Dont't wait until the 11th hour. Your attorney can enter the case of your behalf and take it from there.

You can request an extension. However, it is better to retain an attorney as soon as possible. You don't need to be in Atlanta to retain an attorney. This can be done over the phone.
