Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been divorced for almost 2 years. I moved my children and I to Georgia from NC and have lived here for almost 2 years. I have joint custody with their father who has a long criminal record for DUI and other similar offenses...and continues to drink and drive without a license. He is now threatening to take me to court because I moved the kids out of state. Can he do this so late in the game? He never made an issue of our move until after I began dating someone.
