How do you divorce your parents?

You can't divorce your parents. You can file an action in the juvenile or superior court to emancipate yourself. This means that you would no longer be a minor but be considered an adult legally. To do this, you need to prove that you can provide and support yourself without their help and that you are mature enough to make decisions which adults have to make.

You need to have a consultation with a local attorney to discuss all the facts. You can't "divorce" your parents but you might be able to file an action in court that will achieve your objective.
