Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

i need a DNA test done on the chief of police of Rhode Island and i live in Ga. I have never known who my father is and im 75 % positive i am related to the chief of police of rhod island. The chiefs father is deceased and could be my father. What do i do?, im feel there is a high risk of corruption and document tampering because of his position in law. The family is very wealthy and have declared that i be the one to get a court ordered DNA test, for i feel their afraid of the DNA being positive and them losing anything gained financially by their/my father for i have never received child support, or for that fact anything from him. His immediate family has all he has passed on to them.

I suspect it is highly unlikely in the fact pattern you posted that any court would order a DNA test.

However this is an issue of Rhode Island law, and you for some reason posted in the Georgia part of LawGuri when you should have posted in the Rhode Island part. Repost there to get an answer (you'll need to show your zip code as being one in the city where the matter is). No Georgia attorney will be an expert in Rhode Island law.
