Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My elderly father, who lives in another city, set me up years ago as an agent under a durable power of attorney. He is now blind, and needs my mother to sign forms on his behalf. Is it acceptabe to set her up as an agent as well, whereby he will have established two agents under durable power of attorney documents?

That generally is problematic, as it creates a situation where two people have POAs at once and third parties have no way to know if you or she has the right to act. In general, and he should discuss this with a lawyer, it may make sense to eliminate you and revoke yours and to do a new POA for her.
