Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My ex-husband decided that he did not have to pay any of his paid past medical expenses, including dental and vision. I took him back to court on a contempt charges and the judge ordered him to pay all past due medical, including dental, vision ect. However, since then my ex-husband has now decided that he will no longer pay any dental or vision expenses since it is not stated in our final decree. He has stated may times that if I want him to pay those expenses then I would have to take him back to court.

My questions does court ordered health insurance cover dental and is there a case that I can reference to? Also, what is considers a reasonable cost for insurance, b/c my ex-husband has also decided he will no longer provide insurance due to that clause in the decree.

Final Judgment and Decree

Health Insurance:

The father shall maintain health insurance on the children for so long as health insurance is provided at reasonable costs by his employer. The parties shall split any uncovered medical not paid by insurance. Except in an emergency, the parties shall make every effort to use medical providers covered by the health insurance policy.

There's a very simple solution. Take him back to Court. Courts don't like parents that play games with the well-being of their children. I would strongly recommend that you hire an attorney to help you.

Best of luck.*******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client relationship.******
