Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My exhusband owes back tax year 2005. We married at the end of 2005 and I had no idea he even worked those jobs because he never mentioned them and he worked them before we met. I didnt know he owed until we received a letter from IRS stating that our return was going to be used to pay the debt, which they used our 2007 return to do so. We have since been divorced and now I just received a letter from our state tax office demanding the adjustment difference owed for his unreported income. Unfortunately we filed together and he refuses to pay. I was wondering since I did not know about these taxes if i qualified for either innocent or injured spouse? Thanks again.

See a good CPA or tax attorney. You should have done that when they first went after the 2007 return.
