Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My ex-husband and I are both remarried. Our joint-custody child will be going to his house over the weekend. I have primary, physical custody. The step-mother and I do not get along and I blocked her due to harrassing calls messages. She is supposed to bring my son back on Sunday but my ex-husband refuses to talk to me about arrangements trying to force me to talk to her. Our divorce decree doesn't state specific times but states that he is to call to make arrangements. I advised a time and place to meet on Sunday but he refuses to respond though I know he has seen the arrangement. Will he be in contempt if she doesn't bring him back at my specified time & do I legally have to correspond with her?

Is there a restraining order?
Why not try email correspondence?
Good luck
I cannot imagine allowing my client to enter into an agreement that does not specify return times. Start a paper trail and if he is supposed to return him on Sunday and doesn't, he may be in contempt. I suggest you take your paperwork to an attorney for his/her review.
