My sister and her husband has received custody of a disabled adult after her husbands mother died, he has no ability to read or wright, it is her husbands brother, he is unable to get any assistance with medical expenses because when she died the house was left in the disabled brothers name, my brother in law paid a lawyer 2,500.00 to get his name off the house, they are going to keep the house but it cant be in his name because they want them to sell the house to pay for medical expenses, and the gov refuses to help them until all the money is spent from the house, well the house is on my sisters property and they dont want to sell the house, after all my brother in law was born there, but any way,, the lawyer was givin the money and he told them that he would have it off in a couple of months, well it has been 5 years, and he will not return our calls, she even went there unannounced at one point, he refused to come out of his office, but had no choice when my sister refused to leave until he talked to her , then he told her give him 2 weeks and he would call her back with it completed, that was another year 1/2 ago, what can we do? He cant just take our money, and not return our calls and do nothing, help.. Tonya
